<image:title>Support Team - Interested in joining the riders, but not sure about your cycling ability?</image:title>
<image:caption>One great way to get involved without cycling is to be part of the support team! Our support team drives the sag van and trailer, sets up the rest stops along the route (put out snacks, water, lunch, etc) and enjoys the road trip in the comfort of A/C! You’ll make sure all the riders are accounted for at each stop and even give one or two of them a ride for a leg or two of that day’s ride (which is a great time to have some good conversation). Just bring the same sleeping gear that the riders bring and get ready to be included as one of the team!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Become a Host Church</image:title>
<image:caption>So your congregation wants to host Bike Hope Love riders? GREAT! It’s an easy obligation and fun for everyone! All that is asked is that you provide some room(s) for sleeping (the riders bring the air mattresses) and somewhere to shower (some examples of this are in-house facilities, local recreation centers, YMCAs or church member’s homes.) Have some church members that love to cook and want to go the extra mile? We have had host churches provide supper and/or breakfast for the riders. While this is appreciated, this level of hospitality is totally optional. Bike Hope Love riders are always willing to have a presentation about the group and the mission project we are currently raising funds for by cycling.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Us - Bike Hope Love began in 1987 as a small group of Methodist cyclists called Pedaling Parsons that shared a passion for cycling, community and helping their neighbors.</image:title>
<image:caption>They had the idea that instead of just riding for fun and fitness, they could ride with a purpose. The vision of that founding group resulted in a decades-long movement that has pedaled over 18,000 miles and has raised over $900,000 for mission projects in the U.S. and around the world. Today- these former “Pedaling Parsons” aren’t just clergy, but are made up of both pastors and laypeople. Some ride bikes and others are part of the support team that keeps the riders on the road, gets them to their destinations, refreshes and feeds them on the tour and helps them when they break down, get lost, or get hurt. Bike Hope Love riders are husband and wife, father and son, father and daughter, mother and son teams; they are retirees; they are youth, and they range in age from 9 to 83. This community of cyclists don't mind riding in the rain or sleeping on church floors. They love God, meeting new friends, and the adventure of serving God and others.</image:caption>
